Professional belly dancer, choreographer, and the powerhouse behind SharqiDance!

Born in Brazil and now rocking the NJ dance scene, she’s been shimmying since age 20 and hasn’t stopped since.

​

What started as a fascination with mesmerizing hip movements became a lifelong passion for Middle Eastern dance. Over the years, she’s trained with some of the best in the business and has performed at countless events across the country.

Through SharqiDance, Yamê empowers dancers of all backgrounds to find joy, confidence, and community through the art of belly dance.
